The film makers seemed to be on amazing endeavor of knowledge, curiosity, learning and understanding. I appreciate the honesty that's on display here - particularly with the older films.
This deserves a lot more praise, credit and much more attention than it's been given. Profoundly beautiful and, at times sometimes seemingly cruel. One of the most important, fascinating, thought provoking and educational series of films ever made.
